If I owned a furniture store, I would totally call it "The Ottoman Empire"

Local dog walk franchise around here is called "Mad Dogs & Englishmen" which I always thought was quite clever - Mad Dogs & Englishmen Dog Walking

For those who don't get the reference - it's from a Noel Coward song - Mad Dogs and Englishmen (song) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia which contains the line: "Mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun" - and is a reference to colonial English people living in tropical climates insisting on wearing traditional attire and doing typically "English" things (such as going for a walk at the hottest time of the day) completely ignoring the inappropriateness of it for the weather.

In Bacchus Marsh there was a septic truck called 'Turd Burglar'.

If I had a noodle shop I would call it 'Wok On'.

Not a business name, but a local electrician's tagline was/is "Let us remove your shorts".

Omg, that's mine! You totally stole this idea from me Simon ;) I've been saying I'd open an ottoman store and call it that for years. Clearly we're not the only brilliant minds because there is already a store with that name in WA (opened in the last year or two?)

As an aside, I quite like my business name! (The Good Sheet)

I am also a dog walker and it took me quite a while to think of a name for my business. I did think that Mad Dogs and Englishmen was a great name. After much deliberating I finally decided on Joyfull Paws joyfulpaws.com.au. Let me know what you think?

I think it's a great name - conveys a very positive feeling. Well done.
