I dont have an operating business so have nothing to sell you... sorry.

Im known over at PC and have completed a couple of property developments. Ultimately this is where I see myself settling. However, its not without hurdles.
The biggest hurdle to overcome is cashflow and capital. While the returns on property development are enticing - they are slow to be recognised (measured in years) and capital intensive. They are often out of favor with banks so funding can be difficult (esspecially if you lack your own capital and have insufficent cashflow).
Im currently in a JV for one development which should be complete around mid 2017 and Im looking to get into another one later this year.

I have a broad range of experience managing small enterprises (from $200k/pa to $20mil/pa turnover) for other people - however, never had to rely on the success personally.

Im keen to get started in my own business and have a few ideas brewing. The hard thing is giving up being a wage slave when the golden handcuffs are so tight.

Teetotal, Propagate, d.t. and 2 others like this.
